  • Do you have off-street parking? You'll need access to your own driveway or garage.

  • What charger power level is right? Most homes install a 7kW charger for faster, safe charging.

  • OZEV Grants: You may be eligible for government support depending on your home or vehicle type.

  • Installation time & costs: Most domestic installs take 2–4 hours. Costs typically range from £700–£1,200 depending on the charger type and cable run.

  • Choose a registered electrician. It ensures the work is compliant and safe.
